At the Network Marketing Pro Event this past weekend Susan Sly spoke on 5 simple steps of NLP when it comes to Network Marketing.
Susan Sly is a Multi-Millionaire leader in Network Marketing that spoke for the third time at Eric Worre’s Go Pro Recruiting Mastery Event.
So, what exactly is NLP? Wikipedia defines it like this:
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandlerand and John Grinder in California in the 1970s. Its creators claim a connection between the neurological processes (“neuro”), language (“linguistic”) and behavioral patterns learned through experience (“programming”) and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life.
5 Steps of NLP In Network Marketing Presenting
1. What Is The Universal Problem?
For example, if you are in a company with cards. The universal problem would things like, you forget, takes to much time, etc.
What you are finding is the universal problem or challenge that comes with your particular product.
2. What Are Other solutions that do not work?
This doesn’t mean you go after other companies and put them down. What you are looking for are generalities that just don’t work.
Things like doing cards you have to write things down, you have to go to the store and search for the right card and so on.
You can relate this to your product or service without putting another company or organization down!
3. What Is Our Solution and Why Is It Better?
Again this can and should be done without bad mouthing another company or organization. I can’t stress this enough.
It’s all about presenting with INTEGRITY!
You talk about what makes your product and company different. What we do that makes it better.
Positive value and benefits of YOUR Product!
4. What Makes Me Qualified?
This is where you share your story. This is called ETR (Earning The Right).
You just tell the story as it relates to your product and your business.
You don’t have to be an expert you just have to have a story.
5. What Is The Evidence?
The first part is anecdotal meaning you tell a story about someone else and how your product or business has changed their lives.
Stay away from the Mercedes and Mansion stories and just keep it REAL!
The second part is the facts or evidence of your product as long as the evidence is REAL.
This is basically called the “Art Of Persuasion.”
This method of presenting will change your closing rates and your success. All it takes is some practice and adding YOU to the steps!
